Future Work Recruitment tis supporting our client headquartered in South Africa. We are looking for a Senior NetworkAnalyst  that is ready to play a leading role in major distribution network market builds spanning multiple, often cutting-edge delivery technologies.

This is a hands-on opportunity with a company undergoing explosive growth. Our client will give you the resources and support to build something really special.

Qualification / Requirements

• Up-to-date knowledge of industry offerings in networking arena and their potential uses within the business  > 6 Years
• Good all-round technical knowledge of LAN/WAN network equipment (CISCO & HP Procurve), technologies, protocols and communication standards (e.g. Ethernet, 1000BaseT, TCP/IP suite, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, > 6 Years
• BGP, MPLS)Network management software (HP TopTools; Open Source tools (e.g. Nagios, Cacti, Zenoss); > 6 Years
• Networking skills, configuration of switches, IP ranges and VLANS (VPN, Cisco routers, Satellite networks, Switches, VLANs, VOIP etc.) > 6 Years
• Network security skills and knowledge (Symantec antivirus End Point Protection edition); > 4 Years
• Good Microsoft networking and Operating System skills; > 6 Years
• Troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues; > 4 Years
• Good knowledge of hardware support and installation; > 2 Years
• Knowledge of Symantec Endpoint Protection edition; > 2 Years
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to function in a team;
• Knowledge of design, implementation and operation of data VPN solutions; > 3 Years
• Good knowledge of cabling standards and specifications (e.g. UTP category 5, single and multi-mode fibre); > 3 Years
• Knowledge of design and development of corporate remote access solutions; > 3 Years
• Knowledge of design and implementation of DNS/DHCP/WINS services; > 4 Years
• Knowledge of network analysers and their use (e.g. Network General Sniffer); > 2 Years
